RIVERVIEW, MICHIGAN– BELLE FOUNTAIN NURSING & REHABILITATION CENTER has been recognized as a 2017 recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award for its dedication to improving the lives of residents through quality care. The distinction is one of three progressive award levels through the National Quality Award Program, presented by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL), the leading association for long term and post-acute care. The program honors association members across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality of care for seniors and persons with disabilities.

Belle Fountain – Charles Dunn, a licensed nursing home administrator with more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, purchased the center in 2006 and invested millions of dollars to upgrade the facility. The population is aging. People are living longer and doing more into later years.
Active lifestyles filled with friends, athletics, exercise, and travel are something an increasing number of people can look forward to in great anticipation. Yet those lifestyles can sometimes be sidelined with an injury or illness that requires rehabilitative or long-term care.
It is anticipated that the demand for senior care services will explode as the population ages and more people live with chronic conditions.

Belle Fountain Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 18591 Quarry Rd, specializes in respiratory, short-term, cardiac and orthopedic rehabilitation. Since 1933 the building was a motel, in 1960 a doctors office, in 1990 it was a nursing home and substance abuse facility and in the late 90’s was revamped into a skilled nursing home.
When Charles Dunn, a licensed nursing home administrator with over 30 years experience in the health care industry, purchased the center in 2006, he upgraded the image in a few short months.
